Aimei Wei, Founder and CTO at Stellar Cyber, the innovator of Open XDR, has been named to Inc. Magazine’s 500 Female Founders list. Featured in today’s issue of Inc., the list includes impressive female entrepreneurs who are changing the face of business in many different fields.

“Many of our honorees were told that their vision was impossible, and some were flat-out told they couldn’t achieve it,” said Diana Ransom, Executive Editor, Inc. Business Media. “These women have all overcome adversity on the road to success, and all of them deserve to be honored in this way.”

Aimei Wei came to North America with a few hundred dollars and a huge desire to pursue an advanced education in computer science. Following careers at early-stage startups as well as Nortel, Ciena and Cisco, she founded Stellar Cyber in 2015 with a new vision of making the most advanced cybersecurity protection accessible to the lean security teams at small/medium businesses and MSSPs. Today, Stellar Cyber is recognized as the innovator in XDR technology and as the leading provider of AI-driven SecOps platforms to MSSPs around the world.

“Being able to build a successful company in a male-dominated business has been extremely rewarding,” said Aimei Wei. “I’m grateful to Inc. Magazine for including me on this year’s Female Founders list, especially as it showcases the accomplishments of many other women who have helped to change their industries.”
